PREPARING FOR YOUR CONSULTATION
When you book an initial consultation a confirmation email is sent with the appointment details, including date, time address and cancellation policy.
Most importantly there is a link to a form that MUST be completed prior to your appointment. This will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete and includes questions regarding your health complaints, medical history, family history, current medications, supplements and asks for an insight into your typical daily diet.
DURING YOUR CONSULTATION
During your initial consultation I will investigate in greater detail your health complaints and goals. This is an opportunity for you to share any other relevant information such as how long you have been experiencing symptoms and also allows me to ask further detail, which at times may appear seemingly unrelated, to build a thorough and holistic understanding of contributing factors to your health. Frequently other body systems and how they are functioning are explored (digestive, circulatory, immune, reproductive, endocrine , hepatic and musculoskeletal etc.)
Lifestyle factors are then assessed such as stress levels, sleep hygiene, personal time and a review of diet. Diagnostics and observations are then gathered, such as blood pressure, tongue and nail analysis.
COMPLETING YOUR CONSULTATION
After a thorough case taking we will discuss and confirm your treatment priorities. This conversation will evaluate and include any of your personal preferences or limitations to establish your personalised treatment plan is achievable with my support. Any combination of liquid herbs, supplements (powder, tablet, capsule), creams, lifestyle and dietary modifications may be incorporated as part of your treatment plan.
If prescribed, liquid herbal blends are provided at the end of the consultation, any other supplements are ordered and delivered to you within 1-2 working days.
A summary of your treatment plan, recommendations, any supporting information and a follow-up appointment time is provided at the end of your consultation.
