Turkey Meatballs

INGREDIENTS

500g turkey mince

1/2 red onion, finely diced

3 cloves garlic, crushed

1 tablespoon ginger, finely diced

1 red chilli, finely chopped

1 tablespoon lemongrass, finely chopped

1/4 cup coriander or parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon fish sauce

1 & 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus extra for pan frying

Freshly ground black pepper  

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix together well together.

Using a tablespoon for consistant sizing, form meatballs and place on plate.
Handy tip: use cold water on your hands to stop the mixture sticking your hands and fingers.

To cook, add extra virgin olive oil to your saucepan and fry over a moderate heat, turning every 3-4 minutes until cooked through.

This is a great flavour packed, protein rich element to a meal or healthy snack.
